Please note that every effort is made to ensure consistency across batches and skeins, but as all yarn is hand dyed there is some inevitable variation from skein to skein. I also do my best to make sure you get an accurate impression of the yarns in each picture, but please note that colors vary monitor to monitor. Colorways vary from base to base as well as some fibers respond to the dye process differently than others. Lastly, please consider that the dye style used in creating most of Earl Grey's colorways results in lighter spots and sometimes heavy variegation.
Most yarns dyed at Earl Grey Fiber Co. are superwash and can be machine washed on a gentle cycle, but it is recommended that you hand wash your knits with wool wash and lay flat to dry. Please note that while each skein is washed with wool wash until water runs clear, color bleeding may occur during your project’s first wash.
